it's because some don't appreciate what lil wayne is doing.

there are a few reasons why people dont like him
1. He takes a lot of lyrics from other artists.
2. his songs have no moral meaning.
3. He makes up words to rhyme like dr. suess
4. he claims to be the best rapper alive. (which is an opinion, that happens to not be true)
5. and the auto tune is realy anoying.
what people dont understand is that hip-hop isnt just about talking about women, money, cars, clothes, or killing.
for example, in the 1990's there were so many different styles, but now its the same thing u heafr on the radio.
me personaly dont like lil wayne. i perfer nas, 2pac, immortal technique, gangstarr, and beast1333.
